Nurses Association cooking workshop
Tuesday, November 26, 2024 - 5:00pm

Join the Nursing Student Association for an interactive cooking workshop designed to nourish both body and mind! As we transition into fall, there's nothing more comforting than a hearty meal to warm up the season. Together, we'll be making a simple, delicious soup that's easy to prepare, perfect for busy schedules, and ideal for meal prepping. But this workshop is more than just cooking! It's also a chance to talk about the challenges many of us face as students and future healthcare professionals, especially when it comes to burnout. We'll also discuss mindful eating, meal planning on a budget, balancing school and self-care, setting boundaries to avoid burnout, and how sharing meals can build community and improve well-being. This event will create an open, supportive space for all students to connect, share experiences, and build a sense of community while learning how to prioritize self-care through food. Whether you're a cooking novice or a kitchen pro, come for the food, stay for the conversation.

This workshop is $5 and registration is required here.
